Our mission goes further than the corporate office. We believe clinical menopause care should be easily accesable and not a luxury, which is why social impact is woven into the fabric of Acupause. Every partnership we establish with a workplace allows us to fund and deliver accessible wellness initiatives in local neighbourhoods, ensuring that woman, regardless of circumstances, can navigate their menopause journey with dignity, natural support and care.
Our Story
I'm Aly, a TCM acupuncturist, ear acupuncture tutor and founder of Acupause:
My passion for community menopause care grew out of what I was seeing regularly in my clinic. So many of my clients were navigating menopause and really struggling with their symptoms. Sometimes they couldn’t receive full body acupuncture because of other health conditions. Other times they could, but there was one thing I kept noticing: ear (auricular) acupuncture consistently made a powerful difference.What stayed with me was how often women had to stop treatment early. Not because it wasn’t working, but because they couldn’t afford to keep coming, or could only manage one or two sessions. It didn’t feel right that money was the barrier to feeling better.This community project is my way of changing that. By offering free ear acupuncture through community menopause groups, I want women to get the support and symptom relief they deserve—without the added stress of worrying how to pay for it.
